Vanta is seeking a Director of Lifecycle Marketing, a role dedicated to developing and executing strategies that enhance prospect and customer engagement. This position requires a blend of strategic vision, marketing expertise, and leadership skills to drive initiatives that significantly contribute to Vanta's growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lifecycle marketing, customer retention, and digital engagement strategies, particularly in dynamic sectors like SaaS, B2B, or e-commerce. This role involves leading cross-functional teams and requires a deep understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, email marketing, and digital analytics.

What you’ll do as a Director of Lifestyle Marketing at Vanta:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy that aligns with Vanta's business goals, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

  • Oversee customer journey mapping, from initial engagement through to long-term retention, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

  • Collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, product, and customer success to integrate lifecycle marketing strategies into broader company initiatives.

  • Utilize data and analytics to segment and target customers effectively, optimizing communication strategies across different stages of the customer journey.

  • Lead the design and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns, automation workflows, and customer engagement programs.

  • Regularly evaluate and report on the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing initiatives, using key performance indicators and data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement.

  • Manage a team focused on customer segmentation, email marketing, and retention strategies, providing guidance and mentorship to drive innovation and results.

  • Ensure that all lifecycle marketing activities are aligned with Vanta's brand voice, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

How to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer retention, or related fields, ideally in industries such as SaaS, B2B, or e-commerce.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, customer segmentation, and email marketing platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of marketing metrics and analytics tools.

  • A passion for customer engagement and a commitment to leveraging emerging marketing technologies and trends.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The base pay range for this position is $196,000 - $230,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
