Payments in construction are fundamentally broken — the antiquated billing process hasn't evolved in decades, and construction is one of the slowest industries to get paid in. Millions of hardworking people are affected by this broken system — in turn making construction more expensive and inefficient for society every year. When everyone up and down the chain is on the same page with payments, contractors can focus on actually building, instead of mountains of paperwork. We’re reimagining construction finance to help contractors get paid, grow their business, and build a better future for all of us.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead our outbound SDR team. As a key player in our dynamic and growth-oriented environment, you will be responsible for driving the success of our outbound lead generation efforts, fostering a high-performance culture, and collaborating with sales leadership, account executives, and marketing teams. While there is a foundation in place for this team, we are looking for someone to take it to the next level and instill repeatability for the outbound process.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of outbound SDRs to achieve and exceed set targets for qualified lead generation
    • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement within the team
    • Foster a collaborative and high-energy team culture that promotes motivation, innovation, and accountability
  • Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement outbound prospecting strategies to generate high-quality leads for the sales team
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align outbound efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives
    • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of outbound campaigns
  • Process Optimization:
    • Continuously assess and refine outbound prospecting processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
    • Implement best practices in cold outreach, follow-up, and qualification to ensure a streamlined and scalable operation
    • Utilize technology and tools to enhance SDR productivity and results
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for SDRs, focusing on prospecting skills, objection handling, and product knowledge
    • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into training programs
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on lead generation goals
    • Foster open communication channels between SDRs and other departments to share insights and improve overall business processes

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience managing outbound SDR teams in a B2B environment
  • 3+ years experience in sales
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales processes, prospecting techniques, and lead generation strategies
  • Be the expert at the company on how to build and iterate on the outbound machine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy
  • Familiarity with sales technologies and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Gong)
  • Ability to create and adapt outbound sequences and scripts by persona and industry
