About Replit
We’re building the world’s most ubiquitous programming environment. We focus on inspiring creativity and generating value for creators through community, and we design simple yet scalable infrastructure primitives for the next generation of creators. We want to blur the line between learning and making– a place where you can hang out, tinker with ideas, learn new concepts, and launch a business all in the same day.

Design interns work directly with our product and platform design teams to improve the user experience across Replit. Interns don’t do make-work at Replit — they’re embedded as core members of projects alongside engineering and product staff. What you’ll be doing can involve:

• Doing market and user research to validate ideas

• Writing and proposing project plans with product & eng

• Working in design tools like Figma to prototype ideas and spec out designs

• Improving UI for existing features

• Writing code to bring features to life

While we don’t have strict experience requirements, some things we look for in applicants:

• High bar of UI design craft

• Figma (or equivalent) expert

• Programming experience (of any sort, but front-end/react/ts is a bonus. If you have a favorite CSS selector, you’ll fit in)

• Experience launching and testing real digital services (side projects count!)

• Quality writing & communication

• Opinionated on programming & digital creation tools

Must be expected to graduate in the Spring of 2025.

Interns will be based in the Bay Area, where our main office is located, for the summer.
