About the Role
As a Front End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building the interface through which we deliver a unique banking experience to our users. You’ll participate in product discussions that define our roadmap, help plan its delivery, and execute on it.
You’ll bring design files to life, and maintain a component library that allows us to quickly spin up new features as we make progress through our extensive roadmap. You will also set guardrails to ensure we can ship quickly without compromising on product quality. We use React Native, Expo, Typescript, and Graphql.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with our product, design, and back end functions to build new features that advance the company mission.
Work with front end peers to establish new processes, software patterns, and tools that expedite our development process.
Maintain a testing and observability stack that keeps our user experience stable and proactively alerts us of issues.
Collaborate with our design function to maintain and update a design system and component library that enables speed and consistency.
Work with leadership to plan our engineering execution across different time horizons.
You are:
Passionate about delivering delightful experiences to customers.
Detailed oriented with a great tact on mobile UI/UX standards.
Deeply knowledgeable about the patterns behind React and its latest updates.
Experienced with React Native and popular mobile libraries.
A critical thinker capable of making tradeoffs in a fast paced environment.
A great communicator and collaborator, capable of creating and running cross-functional processes.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software engineering.
2+ years of experience using React or React Native in a production environment.
Experience with mobile testing frameworks.
Bonus: experience developing native iOS and Android applications.
