Our mission at Comun is to help latinos in the US build generational wealth. They’ve been underserved by financial services for decades, constantly facing obstacles in their pursuit towards financial independence. Comun is changing this by designing products that cater to their specific needs. We’re starting with a checking account and debit card for immigrant parents and their 1st gen family members. We are taking their core banking experience and adding a software layer that solves for the language, educational, and trust barriers that these multi-generational households have traditionally faced when using financial products. We've raised $4.5M led by Costanoa Ventures with participation from FJ Labs, South Park Commons, Goodwater Capital, and Animo Ventures. We are also backed by many fintech founders & operators from companies like Stripe, Brex, Coinbase, Bitso, Belvo, Nuvocargo, and many more. 10% of our cap table has underrepresented minority investors.Something looks off?
