Baseten is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to articulate our position as the leading infrastructure provider for software teams using machine learning. This role requires developing marketing strategies that highlight Baseten's strengths in accelerating time to market and ensuring enterprise-grade performance, security, and reliability for companies scaling ML inference in production.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead product marketing initiatives and product launch plans that reinforce Baseten's reputation as an essential solution for software teams deploying machine learning models.

  • Oversee the management and optimization of website product pages, ensuring they accurately represent Baseten’s value proposition and are effective in driving engagement and conversions.

  • Collaborate with content teams to produce long-form technical content that engages developers creating ML products.

  • Author blogs and host webinars that cover thought leadership for the evolving AI/ML developer market.

  • Develop compelling marketing content and campaigns emphasizing the benefits of Baseten for enterprise-grade performance, security, and reliability in ML model scaling.

  • Craft and refine value propositions aimed at driving new business, clearly articulating the unique advantages Baseten offers in the ML infrastructure market.

  • Create customer success stories that demonstrate how Baseten significantly reduces time to market for ML products, affirming our position as the leading infrastructure provider.

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to maintain consistent messaging and a deep understanding of Baseten's unique value in the ML sector.

  • Use market research and customer insights to continually refine marketing strategies, focusing on Baseten’s strengths in the evolving field of ML inference.

Qualifications

  • Have an in-depth understanding and strong empathy for developers, software architects, and DevOps personas, with demonstrated experience engaging those audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability in developing marketing strategies (including blog posts, decks, and videos) that effectively communicate the value of technical products to a technical audience.

  • Prior experience in developing or marketing enterprise software; experience in an infrastructure company preferred.

  • Deep understanding of the machine learning market, especially regarding enterprise needs for open source and custom models.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of creating engaging and persuasive narratives around technical products.

Compensation

The annual salary range for California and New York is $150,000 to $200,000+. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
