We are in search of a people-oriented leader to spearhead the delivery and execution of our sales and customer success onboarding and training programs. This team member will collaborate with sales, customer success, product marketing, and others to ensure the field is equipped with the most current go-to-market strategy and messaging. The successful Field will play a key role in introducing new members of our go-to-market teams (Sales, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Customer Success & Services) to Airtable, providing them with the tools, strategy, and messaging needed to successfully sell our platform. What you'll do

  • Spearhead the design and execution of live and virtual onboarding and training programs, equipping members of our customer engagement teams with the essential knowledge and skills required for success in their roles.
  • Maintain a training curriculum that is highly effective and consumable for team members, including optimizing existing content and creating novel training materials.
  • Own the outcomes of your training programs, continually measuring program compliance, participant performance, and the business impact of each initiative.
  • Attend customer meetings and embed yourself with our go-to-market teams to develop a clear perspective on how to improve our training programs.
  • Travel to other Airtable offices to conduct regional trainings and workshops.

Who you are

  • 5+ years in sales or 5+ years in a training, enablement, or teaching role (can include non-sales concepts).
  • Experience presenting day-long or multi-day trainings to groups of 20+ learners.
  • Expertise in developing dynamic training curriculums.
  • Experience and desire to work cross-functionally with experts from Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in conveying information.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20-40% of the time (post Covid), showcasing your commitment to hands-on engagement and regional training initiatives.
  • BA/BS degree is preferred.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience working at a software-as-a-service company.
    • Excitement about tackling large ambiguous challenges that you haven’t encountered before.
    • Past experience in a quota-carrying sales role at a high-growth software company.
    • Certified as a trainer in our sales methodology - "Command of the Message."
    • Knowledge of marketing operations and/or product operations.

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills and experience. The base salary range for this role is $147,800 - $182,400 for all work locations including remote. Our total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
